Why we love what we do

THE STORY

Her-Wear.com was started by a woman who worked in home improvement, was a home improvement enthusiast and also loved comfortable yet fashionable clothing. She was proud of the work she did and wanted others to know about it. After all, she was a woman working in a man's world - but she had style. She still had her femininity about her and most importantly, she still had a sense of humor. Her-Wear.com helps her and other women to define the type of empowered woman they are by not only what they do but who she they are on the inside. Her-Wear.com offers t-shirts and other products that combine the dichotomy of seemingly opposite labels (construction and femininity) and presents them in a fun, stylish and sassy way.  Her-Wear.com allows a woman to speak books about herself without saying a word and creates a community of women who are all in the same woman-built boat - and damn proud of it!​

​Her-Wear.com was born out of Brooke Coe's desire to find cute clothes that promoted the male-dominated industry she was in - construction.  She spent her days and nights flipping houses, designing interiors, framing out structures, laying tile, building furniture and more.  For fun, she started by designing a carpent-HER shirt - her KEY trade to show off her skills.  She had so many inquiries that the Her-wear t-shirt company grew out of that - and accessories soon followed.​

Brooke also contracts her carpentry and interior design skills through her other company, Huh? Designs. Whether funky or tragically traditional, she can create something to please just about anybody.

So if you're in the trades, or know a g-HER-l who is - share your love of your mad skillz by emblazoning them on your shirt, or mug or...  And be proud!  Her-Wear, we may get dirty, but we're still girly.​​
